Description and use; Adonis is a new, broad-spectrum systemic insecticide that is very effective at very low use rates. Adonis controls insects by both contact and ingestion. It can be applied as a foliar spray, soil broadcast spray, soil injection or soil drench. Because Adonis is systemic, soil applications will be taken up by the roots and moved upward into stems, twigs and foliage. Foliar applications are absorbed into the leaves, but foliar absorption is less efficient than root absorption. The most effective long-term insect control is obtained from soil applications.
