The active ingredient in Wilco Gopher Getter Type 2 (Diphacinone) is impregnated onto Milo Grain, along with a "patented' attractant that draws gophers to the bait. Milo has several advantages; it's a slow germinator which can keep it active in the burrow for up to 27 days. It works in all hand machines or probes, and it is completely consumed by the gopher. It is essential that the bait be fed to the gophers for 3 to 4 consecutive days, as it is an anticoagulant. Type 2 is safer to use around pets because the chances for secondary poisoning are reduced. *Note Available only in California
