Label / MSDS Until recently Heritage was only available to golf courses as an effective weapon against a wide range of turf diseases. Now this versatile fungicide has been labeled for roses and other ornamentals. Heritage controls or suppresses a wider range of common rose diseases than any other fungicide on the market. Heritage is a high ticket material but it is very concentrated. The oz. per 100 rate mixes 1,600 gallons of spray solution per lb. of product. That calculates to 34 cents per gallon of mixed spray. Compare with Ortho's Funginex @ 73 cents per gallon of mixed spray solution. Heritage is not convienent for small backpack or hose end sprayers and is packaged for those of you that mix over 25 gallons of spray solution at a time. Heritage is most effective when used as a preventative fungicide or under light disease conditions. Common Rose Diseases Controlled, Suppressed or Prevented: Downy Mildew, Black Spot, Rust, Powdery Mildew, Botrytis & Alternaria Leaf Spot Rate & Combination: 1/2 to 1 oz. per 50 gallons of water. |
