Description and use:
Weed Impede contains the active ingredient Oryzalin which is a selective preemergence herbicide surface applied for the control of annual grasses and many broadleaf weeds landscape ornamentals including roses. Weed Impede controls weeds growing from seed, and will not control emerged or established weeds, weeds growing from stolons, rhizomes, or root pieces.

Controls or prevents:

  • Annual grasses:
    Barnyardgrass, Annual bluegrass, large and smooth Crabgrass, Fall, browntop & texas Panicum, giant, green, robust & yellow Foxtails, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, Junglerice, Mexican & orcutt lovegrass, Italian ryegrass, Signalgrass, Sprangletop, Wild oats, Witchgrass
  • Broadleaf weeds:
    Bittercress, Carpetweed, Common chickweed, Fiddleneck, Redstem & Whitestem filaree, Groundsel, Henbit, Knotweed, Lambsquarters, Prostrate, Redroot, Tumble, & Spring pigweed, puncturevine, purslane, London rocket, Desert rockpurslane, shepherdspurse, spurge, and Yellow woodsorrel.

    Suppresses:
    Horseweed, Ladysthumb, Prickly lettuce, Mallow, Milkweed, Morningglory, Mustard, Nightshade, Ragweed, Smartweed, Sowthistle, Spotted spurge, Teaweed, Velvetleaf & Volunteer wheat.

    Rate & Coverage:
    3 ozs. per 2 gallons of water covers 1000 sq. ft. provides 4 to 8 months of weed prevention. Kinetic is the recommended adjuvant for the application of Weed Impede.
